Just focus… It’s a tall order these days to keep our minds focused and clear. It seems that no matter where we go, or what we are doing there are sights, sounds, and other things trying to grab our attention. Heck, even our Smartphones can now chirp at us to let us know that we are near a good deal or a favorite place. Advertising and marketing are necessary in our capitalistic society and our shopper’s culture. Perhaps it’s different for you, but I find it hard to stay focused, especially with my mind that is attracted naturally to shiny things! What I have learned through the schools of hard knocks and experience is that I can stay focused when I am constantly checking my motives and efforts. Constant contact with the Holy Spirit from seeking God’s will throughout the day is what gets me through. How do you stay focused?..
