Foreign gods of today. ... What do you worship? Believe it or not, but some folks blindly serve another god in the form of money, work, or a material possession. Heck, some of us might even worship another human; like a movie star, athlete, or even obsess on a personal relationship. Now don't get me wrong, it's great to have nice things and healthy personal relationships, but are we allowing those persona, places, and or things to become our gods? Do we spend a large amount of time focusing our thoughts, energies, and efforts obsessing over attempting to please or serve them? I am a firm believer of the spiritual principle that your heart exists where your thoughts reside. ...Check your experience. .... "God either is or He isn't. What was our choice to be?" Big Book pg 53. Lord, let us focus our thoughts on Your will and not fall into false worship of the people, places, and things around us, AMEN. "The Lord alone led him; no foreign god was with him."
